A thought which I hear form many people, my programmer friend and clients is that “Design is piece of cake, its just to add images and text together and the work is complete”
People think its just a matter of opening Photoshop and design is magically ready, which is of course not true, To come up with good design its very important to do research, sketch you concept, Look for reference, Trying different options while create a design and polishing the design with an creative manner. Hoping that people should start understanding this and clear their misconception about the design.

Make a poster of this and put it up on all ‘composing’ shops at every nook and corner, who take away a lot of our potential work by the way, whether people like to believe it or not
Danial, Blogging is not terribly dfciifult to start/setup, if you have a technical bent . The part that most people find most challenging is creating info (content) on a regular basis. You can setup a free blog on number of services and often there are standard Free themes or looks you can choose.
